Our Team
John Hatley
OWNER, INTERIOR DESIGNER
Commitment to detail and a passion for art and design, and its history, form the foundation for John’s expertise. A graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design and a licensed Florida Interior Designer, he prevails as one of Florida’s prominent designers. John specializes in luxury, residential design in all design periods and has personally created many specialty art work pieces and accessories to enhance his projects. Hatley and Thompson has been featured in Architectural Digest, Florida Design, Palm Beach Life, Boca Raton Magazine, YES! Magazine of Miami, and many others.
Carolyn Thompson
OWNER
As a contributing owner of Hatley and Thompson, Carolyn oversees the entire design project lifecycle from initial concept to project completion. She procures merchandise, develops and maintains relationships with clients, facilitates effective communication and coordination among project team members, and ensures that delivered projects align with client expectations. Hatley and Thompson was founded by John Hatley and Carolyn Thompson in Philadelphia, PA and the collaboration is very accomplished.
